With The Lord which is very far better    Mr  Bill; Thompson died peacefully in the local Caterham hospital just after 11pm last night (30th May).  In the last month he had been very ill and deteriorated quite rapidly.  He is now in his heavenly home. Please remember Dorothy and the family in your prayers. Edith Moore was called Home early yesterday morning 1st June now she is pain free and enjoying a wonderful reunion with loved ones and most importantly her Lord and Saviour.

Doreen  English requests prayer that the Lord would help overcome her health problems that cause difficulties with mobility. 

Doreen Lane reports on her concerns for saints in Natambu as she has not had the regular reports nor heard from them for several months. Details are withheld due to political sensitivity. 

Charles & Grace Geddes request prayer for their continuing service for the Lord in their home locality, public preaching, door to door tract work and the regular communications with Trinidad, Aurula, & St Vincient. 

Peggy Roberts reports that a young student from the Congo  was baptised on May 8th and there were two rows of her family and friends present. 

Mollie Thompson writes on how tracts were given to a group about to  climb Mt Kill please pray for the seed sown.  

Alex & Olive Smyth, - Olive writes Alex is increasingly frail but manages to get out via wheel chair and taxi’s 

Roy & Karen Wood  write that  they are both improving in health.  “We can report that the final proof reading of the Chokwe Bible has been completed and should reach the printers about now ( 20 May 2010) for 20000 to be produced”.   Ann Thorogood writes on behalf of Nancy Barnes. At the moment Nancy is suffering from a severe chest infection. She is on her third course of treatment, however with the weather warmer she is able to get out into the garden of the Nursing Home, to appreciate the fresh air. 

Mrs E Brown writes that her health is not so good with various problems requiring her to rest more, though these are more a nuisance to her.   Olive Rogers request prayer for the Tribal Koyya people she visited in 1959/60 at which time there were no known Christians but national workers have been working there and now there are thousands of believers. Pray for them that their numbers may grow in The Lord and their understanding of the Christian faith may grow as they witness for the Lord. Please pray that our dear sister’s battle with the pain from her health condition will soon end and she will know a complete recovery.
